Five ‘Must-Haves’ For Running Your Business On The Go

It’s 2018 and things are evolving, even the business world. Your work hours may be not be set in stone or you may work remotely. There are endless ways to be flexible with your small business these days. Even when running a business on the go, it’s vital to remain prepared and professional, which is why we recommend these five must-haves to successfully run your business from anywhere you’d like:

1. Technology 

This is the ultimate must-have. Find what you need for you and your employees to work successfully and invest in it. What will increase your efficiency and productivity? This could range anywhere from smartphones to printers.

1. The right software

There are many different apps you can use to help your business thrive while on the go. Google Docs is one of our favorites for collaboration and editing from any people. Find what works for you and stick with it. You’ll also need a payroll app (we use Gusto) and a mobile invoicing app.

1. Go-to meeting spaces 

 Find a couple places you can meet with clients and employees. Coffee shops, restaurants, bookstores are great options for casual meetings. For more formal meetings, we suggest you find a conference room you can rent out or work in for set periods of time. Our conference room is available to rent out. 1. Supplies

Anything you use in the office, you will need on hand. Pens, sticky notes, paper, anything. Even when you’re not in the office, you need to be prepared and professional, especially when meeting with a client.

1. Regular office hours

This one can be tricky, but try to maintain regular office hours even when working off site. Having scheduled hours can ensure some sort of routine for you and your employees.
